"Why not?" Kier asked. -
"because its scary" she said with a slight laugh

"It's just a flash of light. Startling to say the least, but not frightening."

"Well i still dont like it" she said

Kier shrugged and took a sip of his drink. He didn't mind the heat. In fact it reminded him of Hell.

She took a sip of her coffee it was warm but not hot

"So, what were your doing out and about" Kier asked.

"Just trying not to be in the same place all the time" she said

"Are you busy today?"

"No" she said

"Ah," he said. "You just gave the impression that you were."

"You were," Kier said as he took another sip. -
She nodded. her nose was stuffy she was trying not to show it by sniffling
(eck school kills "sniffling" i couldve used a better word)) -
Looking out the window, Kier saw the rain stop and the sunbeams viciously tear through the clouds.
