Jeneau sat on a tall rock next to the alpha, looking down upon the pack with a solemn expression.

Reed was carrying a rabbit in his mouth, grinning when he saw Kaila. She wagged her tail when she saw him and he set his prey down for her.
"All for me? Ooh, thanks!" she said brightly, bopping him with her head to show her appreciation and began to eat. Kaila's mate, Sheath, had died not very long ago, so Reed was looking out for her.
Sheath had been a jerk anyway, but he had gotten his young mate pregnant and then gotten killed by attacking a group of nearby humans. Kaila finished the rabbit and went back to sleep. -
Shade rushed through the forest, panting through his panic. He could have taken on one of these wolves, but three? He didn't stand a chance.
He skidded to a halt behind a large boulder as the three angry wolves howled, racing past him cluelessly.
Grateful to be alive, Shade limped cautiously past a group of small pine trees. -
Summit dragged a small deer behind him. It was small for a deer, but it would feed the pack for many days. He had been hunting with Snowdrop.

Reed shook the thoughts out of his head and padded away, letting her rest. He was instantly swarmed by a group of pups, yipping at him excitedly.
"Guess what, Uncle Reed, guess what?" a reddish-brown pup with white splashes yipped. "We're going to be trained soon!" -
Shade then sat down with his tail tucked over his paws. Well, now it was time for him to find food.
He lifted his chin, only to scent the warm, fresh, tasty smell of dead deer. If some other wolf was eating the deer, he'd have to snatch it, or at least get two bites of it. -
Summit looked up at Alpha and Jeneau, and padded over to the Beta, who he knew better than the others. "Me and Snowdrop got a deer." He barked, flicking his tail over to it.

"Very good." Jeneau nodded in approval. "We will be sure to give you more to eat, tonight."

Reed chuckled. "I know, Kara, you tell me everyday."
Kara smiled guiltily and then went to play with her red and black brother, Aru. -
Snowdrop walked up to her friend and the beta. "Should we go out again today to hunt, or do you want us to guard the borders?" She asked.

"You've done enough hunting." Jeneau said. "Secure the borders."

Kaila padded out, chuckling. "Is Kara causing you too much trouble? Aru and Suli are behaving, but she's just...very excited!"

He lifted his chin, only to scent the sweet but fresh scent of deer. Growling through his approval, he began to wander blindingly towards the scent, not caring if there was a pack or not. He was hungry, and he couldn't think on n empty stomach.
