Muse A is a rather popular person. Known across the school for [something]. One morning in the first period did Muse A arrive to class...different. Their clothes were covered in mud and dirt, their eyes wide with shock and fear, their hair frizzy and knotted. The class changed their focus from the English lesson to them. Questions began to spiral around the class, and with the means of phones, began spreading around the school. Nonetheless, Muse A took a seat.
Now, Muse B, someone who disliked Muse A for their popularity, was intrigued. This caused a conversation to talk between the two. Muse B, wanting to get a rise out of Muse A, began poking fun at them and asking questions on everyone’s mind. That's when Muse A revealed their powers fueled through their fear, anger, and confusion. At the act of this, the principal came onto the louder speakers, asking for Muse A and asking for other students to remain in their respective classrooms. When this event occurred, the students in the classroom were filled with fear and began leaving the class, in fear of what Muse A might do.
Despite Muse B having done nothing but harm throughout their high school life, they decided to be beside Muse A, for whatever reason. Muse A then explained to Muse B someone was out to get them because, Muse A learned of their powers and knew whoever wanted them was doing much more harm than Muse B could ever do. Muse B offered to go with them, wherever Muse A wanted to go. Muse B, despite still not liking Muse A, went along with them. Now the two are travelling together even with their mixed feelings towards each other. At least they’re not alone.
