Do you guys remember when random people would barge into the RP you were doing and just go, "Looking good!" or "Oh my goodness that plot twist" or just random things like that and everyone doing the to was like hdjiviflisk you were reading it?!

Or when you were RPing a sad scene and then someone popped in like "Omg...I'm actually crying right now" or EVEN WORSE
When people would try to submit responses to an RP that wasn't theirs -
When I first found this site's roleplay forum I completely didn't understand the rules so I just barged into a roleplay and made a character sheet and everything. It was awful. I believe it was one of puppetmaster's RPs

I have never participated in a roleplay before. Could anyone teach me or provide me with a guide?

I can teach you! :D
Basically it's like making a story, but you and another person (or more) make it up as you go! You each take turns adding onto the story until it finishes.
But first you or someone needs to make a plot for the story to kick off. Such as a celebrity in disguise falling in love with one of his fans. Then you would make a character sheet and describe your character. After that, decide who goes first and then start the roleplay! :D
I hope I did a good job explaining because I'm not really good at explaining things. Lol :') -
^Also each user participating in the roleplay controls a certain character in it. You get to choose at the beginning who gets the main few characters.
Side characters are just sort of a whoever wants them gets them, but generally they're controlled by the person who saw the need for the side character in the first place.
You also cannot control the actions of a character that does not belong to you.
For example, if I'm rping with Nix, they have C1 and I have C2, I can't go, "C1 jumped over the fence to C2." C1 is not my character, thus I have no right to control them. -
