"Oh, but you must be mistaken. I'm on the edge of your pathetic border, Thunderclap." She hissed.
-
Thunderclap flinched a little, before he forced his fur flat. "I'm sorry, but even the borders."
-
She took a step back. "Happy now, father?! Oh, wait, thought I was dead, did you? Hope you're unhappy that I'm not. I sure do wish you were dead. Lucky Lilypelt was here to teach me how pathetic ShadowClan is. Did you know her? ShadowClan exiled her. Well, guess what? Badgers attacked, and she's dead. Just a heads-up, I chased the badgers onto your territory, Father. Oh, and tell Duskkit he's as good as dead to me." She hissed with anger.
-
He paused, his eyes flooding with emotions of all hurt, shock, sympathy, fear, sadness, anger, and love. "Pyrokit!?" He gasped. "I'm so sorry what I did to you!"
Duskpaw twitched his ears, eavesdropping. Pyrokit!? She'd arrived!? But... Different. And hateful. He sank away, betrayal, hurt, and sadness flooding through him. -
"Oh, you think that's what I go by? I changed my name to Ember, trying to forget about you. And what reason do I have to forgive you? I have scars because of you! Isn't it obvious how I feel about you? Oh, wait, I don't. I don't feel anything for you, Duskkit, or the rest of ShadowClan." She snarled with pure hatred gleaming in her eyes.
-
Thunderclap backed away in sadness. "I understand if you won't forgive me," He sighed. "I can't seem to forgive myself, either."
"Are you okay, Duskpaw!?" Batpaw asked. "No," He replied sorrowfully. "What's wrong!?" She then demanded, affectionately putting her tail over his. "I'd rather not talk." He growled, padding away from her. -
"You'd better not be able to." She growled, and slashed her claws at his muzzle, turned her back to him and sat, her tail wagging back and forth in pure anger. She turned to glare at him. "I have my own borders now, and my own ways. My territory begins at the end of yours. You'd better never come here."
-
The other cats by him, pounced on her, attacking thoroughly.
Duskpaw continued to eavesdrop. -
She slashed her claws at the other cats, and managed to get a hold of one of them. She didn't know who it was, she just bit the she-cat's neck until she fell limp, dead. She attacked the others. "I'll kill you all! Stay off my territory!"
-
Thunderclap looked down, horrified. "C'mon, quit wasting your time!" He called to the other cats, before limping away swiftly.
(If you don't know why he was limping, here's the backstory;
After Pyrokit disappeared, Thunderclap became depressed. He wanted to kill himself like he thought he killed Pyrokit. He ran out onto the street, and got hit by a monster. But he didn't die; his leg did.) -
Ok))
She licked her wounds. "I'll kill more of you if you get close!" She called. "Oh, and don't forget the badgers on your territory. Yeah, there's six." She stood there, waiting for them to leave. One of them tried to take the dead cat's body back, but she prevented that. "The dead cat stays with me. I am only doing this out of spite. She stays for the vultures, or you die too." She hissed. -
Duskpaw peered back, to make sure nobody was watching, before he slipped off ShadowClan border into the bushes, making sure he was well hidden. As he stalked through the bushes, a vole squeaked beneath him, before it silently raced away.
-
She dragged the dead body to a nearby tree where vultures awaited. "Here, feast on this mouse-dung." She told them as they swooped down to eat. Her den was also near the ShadowClan border, by a tree. She spotted a rabbit, and pounced on it, killing it successfully. She went to the blood-covered area where she had fought her father and began to eat, right on her border.
-
She sat down close by, right on the ShadowClan border. Growling low under his breath, he made sure to stay quiet, continuing to stalk further and further from ShadowClan territory. He felt guilty deserting ShadowClan like this, but he wanted his freedom, too. "Just a few more ways until I'm at Fourtrees..." He silently whispered.
-
In a few minutes, she heard a hunting patrol. An apprentice-sized cat chased a squirrel across her border, and killed it. She stalked over to the apprentice. "You went over your border to kill this squirrel, and onto mine, which makes it mine. Now give it, or else..." She flicked her tail towards the dead body of the Clan cat she had killed that the vultures were eating as the apprentice's mentor approached.
