He ate it quickly. "Have you seen any other winged animals like us?" He asked.

Night began to fall and Kira grew tired. She wouldn't let Skyral see it, but he ducked under her and supported her weight. She gratefully rasped her tongue over his ear and fell asleep.

"Huh. Odd." She heaved a sigh after she had finished. "Welp. Imma go take a fly. You're wwelcome to join me." Without waiting for a reply, she shot into the air, before beginning her flight.

He shot up after her, flying in front of her a little. "I have to go back to the mountains soon, but I guess I can for a bit."

Skyral flew on, breathing heavily what with the added burden on his back.

He flew beside her for a few minutes, then decided it was time to go back. "I have to go." He mewed, did a banking turn, approached land, and landed on a tree.

Skyral landed nimbly on the ground, laying down and letting himself rest.
