Okay! Let’s start before he almost get’s ran over.))
Zan walks down the street with Jenny, checking the time every once in a while. It was very quiet, especially since it was nearly 6:30 at night. Darkness lurking in the allies as it got darker, barely able to see Jenny’s face when he looked at her. The lifelessness of the closed stores. It was spooky, and he liked it. Silence continued as they walked. -
Jenny walked beside Zan she wasnt one for the dark. It was far to creepy for her.

Zan looks at Jenny again, wrapping one of his arms around Jenny so she wouldn’t feel too uneasy. He noticed the height difference, her being a couple inches taller than Zan, but he didn’t mind. His had gotten the shortness from his mother, no doubt. -
"shorty" Jenny said playfully

“Treetop.” Zan says back, grinning.

"Shorty was nicer the treetop'' she said with a laugh

He shrugs, still smiling. They come to a corner where they have to cross the street, and he stops, looking at the crossing signal.

The red stopping hand changes to the white walking man, and Zan starts walking, not seeing the one car that skipped the red light.
