"Well, Owlkit and Falconkit are," Dustswirl said. "Hawkkit takes a little getting used to."
The inquisitive kits were already bounding over to investigate the newcomer. -
Pyro looked at them hesitantly. "H-hi, I'm Pyro." She told them shyly.

"I'm Falconkit, and these are my sisters, Owlkit and Hawkkit," Falconkit said. "Momma, is she a new sister? I already have two, I don't need another one, thank you."
"Not a sister, she's a friend," Dustswirl said, chuckling. Falconkit perked up.
"I like that! Are you our friend, Pyro?" he asked. -
"If you want to be." Pyro responded nervously.

"Yay!" Falconkit said happily. Owlkit looked at Pyro with wide eyes, before purring.
"I wouldn't mind another sister, but a friend's even better," she said warmly. "You can stay with us, Pyro!"
"Yeah, you can play with us!" Hawkkit said excitedly. "Do you know how to playfight?" -
Over time Bluekit and Pearlkit became older and smarter, blah blah blah, stuff stuff stuff.

Flowerheart wrapped her tail around Bluekit and Pearlkit, before steadily holding her gaze softly in each of their eyes.

"No..." She mewed sadly. "I lost all my family. But you can teach me!"

Bluekit looked up at her mother softly, before both her and Pearlkit rushed off to do whatever.

Hawkkit gasped. She took things like this very seriously. "You don't know how to play? You lost your family? Okay, we have to start now!"
"That's so sad," Owlkit said. "Don't worry, we're here for you."
Falconkit nodded enthusiastically. -
