"Ok! Where'd you put the mouse bile?"

Bubbleburst gestured to a corner where a few leaves where covering it. Spiderweb and Flyclaw purred a welcome to her.

She got some moss soaked in mouse bile. "Ok who wants to go first today?" She asked.

"I'll go," a light golden she-cat said. "I'm Firstdawn."

"Ok! Do you have any stories?" Pyrokit asked as she prodded through Firstdawn's fur.

"Yes," Firstdawn said. "One is about a kittypet. Would you like to hear it?"

"Sure!" She purred happily, dabbing the mouse bile on a fat tick.

"Once, there was a lovely young kittypet. His name was Candle. One day, a little apprentice met Candle and fell in love," Firstdawn started.

She cracked the tick after it fell off, because it had begun to start crawling again.

"Candle wanted to join the apprentice's clan, but everyone said no. They didn't want an ex kittypet in their midst," Firstdawn continued. "The apprentice left her clan to be with him and vowed that one day, Candle would be a Clan cat. But just after he got his apprentice name, a monster hit him. As he died, he became Candlelight, the guardian of the lost. His mate and kits are the only ones able to see him, along with the Chosen. He must choose you to have the eyes of the stars."

"Poor Candlelight." Pyrokit murmured, licking Firstdawn's pelt clean.

"It is a very sad tale," Firstdawn agreed. "But the Chosen can See. They are gifted with eyes that can see the spirits of the past, and sometimes the cats of the future. There are two Chosen in this Clan, Bubbleburst and I. It is one of the reasons why she became the medicine cat."

Oh now I wish Pyrokit was a chosen. Can you make it so it manifests when they reach three moons old?))
"How do you know if you have the ability or not? It sounds cool." She asked curiously. -
I'll think about it. If a cat is Chosen, I'll make Candlelight appear in the dreams))
"Sometimes it's obvious from birth," Firstdawn said. "Other times it happens slowly. It should happen before or right after a cat becomes a warrior or medicine cat. Candlelight will come to you and Chose you. You know him when you see him."
There was a shuffling noise and Owlkit gazed at Firstdawn, looking embarrassed. "I didn't mean to eavesdrop, I wanted to help with the fleas and such but your story was so interesting and I didn't want to interrupt."
"That's alright, child," Firstdawn said with an amused purr. -
"Are there any cats here right now?" Pyrokit asked.
Ooh you should make it so she sees an unfamiliar cat that looks like Pyrokit --- Pyrokit's mother))
