Pyrokit fell asleep fast. But when she stood up, she wasn't in camp. "Where am I?" She called out into the starry forest.
"StarClan." Replied a voice behind her.
She turned to see a tabby she-cat striding towards her. -
M'kie))
Juniperpaw got her true name that night, Juniperberry. Her heart felt warm with excitement and she curled up against her mentor to sleep. -
She looked at her in surprise. StarClan was a place she had never expected to be!
"You will be the new medicine cat. Tell Bubbleburst that I told you this. If she doesn't believe you, tell her I was Stoneheart." She whispered to her, a twinge of sadness in her voice. "I was her mentor. Go, quickly now. It may be night, but this is important."
Suddenly, Pyrokit woke up. -
That night, Bubbleburst heard a small noise. She stepped out and saw a deathberry rolling along the floor. The moonlight caught it and she saw what seemed like a flash of flame on its surface.
Bubbleburst jumped back. "What could this mean?" -
Pyrokit ran to Bubbleburst's den. "Bubbleburst!" She whisper yelled.

"Pyrokit, I need to speak with you," Bubbleburst said. "Would you like to become a medicine cat's apprentice?"

"Yes! I had a dream with StarClan and someone named Stoneheart told me to tell you that I have to be one." Pyrokit explained.

"Stoneheart," Bubbleburst said, her eyes shining. "Yes...I'll talk to Juniperberry."

"Ok! Will he be my mentor?" She asked, excited.

"I think she's ready," Bubbleburst said, smiling. "I am old and ready to retire."

"Retire? You won't be a medicine cat anymore?" She asked.

"Deep down, I'll always be a medicine cat," Bubbleburst said. "But my littermates rest in the elders' den now."

"Why can't there be three medicine cats?" She asked, confused.
