Slantro's gaze flickered over to Yuka in a sort of panic, but she merely smiled at him. "Go on, it's okay," she whispered encouragingly. "You've got this!"
He smiled tentatively and stood up. "Uh, my name is Slantro Celrie, I'm 16, and I'm happy to be here," he said with just a touch of confidence. -
Flame stood up and gulped. “Uhh...”
He glanced at Noc and gained confidence.
“Hi. I’m F-Flame en Yon. I’m 15...and...that’s it.” His French accent was very pronounced. -
Noc smiled at both of them kindly, despite laughing classmates.
A girl with long green hair and a heart on her cheek giggled, waiting to approach the new kids at lunch. -
Yuka gave both Slantro and Flame a double thumbs up. Slantro sat back down, slightly embarrassed.

Flame managed a weak smile back before he sat down, embarrassed, back in his seat.
Paarz pondered the new kids. The red haired boy seemed obviously shy, but the other one...she'd have to figure him out now. -

Slantro straightened up and tried to pay attention, but he was consciously aware of the people around him.
Yuka leaned back, obviously relaxed. -
The bell rang, and Flame and Paarz both jumped up. Flame smiled at Noc. "What's your next class?" he asked her. He was anxious for a familiar face in a different class.
Paarz watched Flame talk to Noc and shrugged, turning back around. "See you guys later," she said to Yuka and Slantro. -
(Should we make class schedules, so characters can interact with different ones?)

Yeah. It may be easier if we make them all schedules. I'll also add Sal Men as a main character so if Noc is in a class alone I have someone)

My perfectionism demands that the side thread has a name. Maybe Food School or something? My creativity is on break, unfortunately :/
