In this world sentient creatures* are born with special markings on their bodys, usually on their arms and backs, that only will match that of a potential soul mate. A person can have many potential soul mates, but only one or two will be their actual mate. So to help people find their mates, camps started up. Every year people with a certain type of marking will go to one of those many camps, in the hopes of finding their mate
Our characters are attending one of those camps in the attempt to find their mates
*i say creatures because if yall are ok with it i have a half human oc i would like to use -

Long braided white hair and bright blue eyes. He has pale skin, and a 15 foot white snake tail that starts at his waist. Starting between his shoulders and running down the spine of his tail to the tip is iridescent white feathers
Clothes- he likes wearing hoodies
Personality- hes very friendly and likes chatting to people, even if they find him scary. Can be dangerous when frightened
Hobbies- he loves to weave and star gaze
Other- he gets cold easily and likes to snuggle, but does have a venomous bite. It wont kill you, but you wont be able to move for a few hours -
