On the continent of Leyridiya, there are four territories. The Fire Kingdom, ruled by King Phoenix Inferno, the Water Tribe, led by Chief Bay Mist, the Earth Colony, governed by Captain Forest Terra, and the Air Clan, guided by Leader Sky Breeze.
But one day, on the thousandth year since the disappearance of the Lightning People, a prophecy was uttered by a Water Tribe Healer. It foretold that there would be five, born with the power of all the elements, who would bring back the Lightning Resistance and bring down the darkness spreading over Leyridia.
Unknown by the people living on Leyridia, there is a terrible secret that lurks in the Tree of Life, which grows in the middle of all four territories. When a child is about to be born, a fruit from the Tree is to be eaten by the mother, to 'ensure that the child is healthy'. But that is a lie. The fruit is poisoned, and it is actually blocking the newborn's powers, leaving them without their true abilities.
But these five children didn't get poisoned. They were all born on the same day, within the same hour, and they will get their true abilities the moment they turn fifteen. And that's tomorrow.
C1: Powers: Manipulating fire and lava, never gets cold (Fire Kingdom)
C2: Powers: Breathing underwater, water control, ice control (C3 twin) (Water Tribe)
C3: Powers: Water temperature manipulation, water control, ice control (C2 twin) (Water Tribe)
C4: Powers: Earth, metal, and plant manipulation (Earth Colony)
C5: Powers: Flight, air/wind manipulation, and changing air temperature (Air Clan)
The normal territories' powers are listed below:
Fire Kingdom: Never gets cold or can have very small fire manipulation abilities
Water Tribe: Breathing underwater or water temperature manipulation. Very rarely can have the ability to tell the future in form of prophecy
Earth Colony: Can speed up plant growth or have better luck with finding precious metals
Air Clan: Changing air temperature or having a very small ability to make winds

Also, this is the plot of a book I'm writing, and I'm looking for inspiration because I've hit a block.
