He peered up at her, a look of gratitude in his eyes.
How am I supposed to kill her if she's so kind!? He thought angrily. -
Lupa looked away, putting her hands on her hips. "This is a lovely place you've got here. How long have you lived here?"

"Uhm- Ever since my mother died," He half-heartdely replied, studying the necklace thoroughly.

"Oh," Lupa said. "I'm so sorry."

"Huh?" He realized.

"I shouldn't have asked," Lupa said hurriedly.

"Oh, sorry." He sagged his shoulders. "I wasn't listening."

"That's okay," Lupa said, involuntarily touching her wrist.

He turned his head around to face the door as the gentle zephyr swayed through the room's depths. He held his breath as his eyes flicked from side to side. This frequently continued in a continuous pattern.
