Plot
This is the love story of Muse A, a time traveler, and Muse B, an Immortal. Muse A works for the Intersect Agency, a group who utilizes time travel to retrieve artifacts and, on rare occasion, people, from different moments in time. Muse A's parents were both agents, Muse A has always lived in a special pocket of the universe, separated from the linear time system. Now that Muse A is old enough, they begin receiving tasks from IAHQ.
Their first task takes them to Earth, medieval times, where their mission to acquire a crown is foiled by Muse B. Muse B works as a guard to the royal family, and is quite skilled in what they do. However, they have a secret- They're an assassin sent to destroy the family. Muse A's sudden appearance disrupts their plans and lands them both in deep water.
They briefly team up, but Muse A uses Muse B, and escapes, leaving their to reap the punishments.
The next time they meet is far in the future, on a different planet entirely. This time Muse A is sent to kill a specific person, but once again finds themself in trouble. Somehow they stumble across Muse B, who is working for an intergalactic trading company. (Or something like that.) After momentary confusion on Muse A's part, Muse B helps them escape.
Muse A certainly wasn't expecting to meet Muse B ever again, and they certainly didn't expect help if they did! But, Muse B has experienced the last couple thousand years in a linear fashion, and this isn't the first time they've encountered Muse A since the botched assassination attempt. Muse B must convince Muse A that they're not enemies, in fact, they're lovers- Well.. Will be, in Muse A's future, but Muse B's past.
Muse A is, in fact, sent back to the past, smack-dab in the middle of a massive extinction event on Earth. As the rich an fortunate are preparing to shuttle off to distant, survivable planets, Muse A must scramble to complete their task. But something else is on their mind- Muse B. They know they must find them and return the favor of rescue, but Muse B does not make this an easy task. For Muse B, their last memory of Muse A is being left to die, framed for both of their crimes.
Muse A fumbles the pass, and ends up having to return once again, against IAHQ's wishes, determined to save his soulmate. It's a close call between making sure Muse B escapes the dying planet, and keeping IAHQ off of their tails.

As stated in the subtitle, this plot requires someone who knows how to play a role and contribute to the plot. This might take a bit of sorting out and brain power, but I think it's a very interesting concept.
I'm open to suggestions! But I'd like to keep the main structure.
mxm or mxf is fine.
I'd be comfortable playing either role, so it's really whatever seems easiest to you. Please let me know if you have any questions/edits you would like to make.
We can either end it with Muse A returning to the future to live out their life with Muse B, or we can sculpt a further plot together, possibly involving the IAHQ. -
Sounds interesting. Can I join?
-
Sure! WHich character are you interest in?
I will warn you, I have a job and probably won't be super active, but you can expect more than a line when I do reply. -
Could I be muse b?
That sounds familiar lol -
Sure! Do you have any questions about the plot?
I'm guessing we're doing mxf as I assume that's what you're comfortable with? Which one would you like Muse B to be?
Haha, yeah, you probably have heard it before. I'm pretty invested in this plot, though, I'm looking forward to playing it out. -
Not at the moment, but I'll let you know.
Yes, thank you.
I don't care, but I suppose that since they're a royal guard in the medieval time they'd have to be male. -
I think a female guard would be pretty badass! Perhaps they've disguised themselves as a male, like Mulan? That could be part of the reason their plans get foiled.
-
I'm about to head to bed, but here's a few things?
What sort of immortal is Muse B? A vampire, or a warlock of sorts? I'll let you decide how you want to implement that, if you have any ideas.
Goodnight! -
True, I like the sound of that.
I was honestly just thinking a human that lives forever, my mind didn't go there. (this is what happens when you watch too much Highlander) -
That works just fine, lol!
I'm thinking a pretty basic character skeleton should be fine, just be sure to include their personality and backstory!! I'll work on mine and hopefully post it when i get off of work. -
Oh, what point in the plot are we starting at? In the future or the past?
-
The first meeting!
After that, we can do it one of two ways. The immortal's timeline, or the time traveler's. -
Name: Duvessa Helmer
Age: in reality she's 239 but she looks like she's in her late teens early twenties.
Gender: female
Appearance: short black hair, dark blue eyes, tall, thick boned, rather pretty
Personality: Well rounded, knowledgeable, an excellent liar
Bio: It was much to her surprise when she found out she wasn't aging. She lived over a person's lifetime, and now two, almost three lifetimes. She joined a group of assassin's about five to ten years ago and has succeeded in every mission. She has to pretend to be a man otherwise things would definitely not go as well for her. She goes by the name Duncan, rather than Duvessa to keep her identity hidden. She was given the job to eliminate the royal family, so she became a guard ti help her in that feat. -
