Sgrios blinked as he took it, his ears twitching. "what is this?" He asked curiously

Jon said "It's a sweet roll, dummy. The thing you can't make." Yancy said "Jon! But he is right. It's a sweet roll. I'm not sure gods ever eat mortal food but as long as you're here, I figured you would like to try some."

Sgrios's ears tilted back amd he gave Jon an annoyed look but nodded at Yancy's words "ok then"

Yancy said "I always get them from Monique. I've tried making them myself but I can never get them to rise just right. Do you like it?"

Sgrios nibbled on the sweet roll, pausing for a moment before nodding and continuing to eat it

Yancy smiled and Jon said "Great, we're making memories now. Hopefully they'll be of value when we're all dead."

Sgrios gave Jon a look "arnt you already dead?

Jon said "Yes and resurrected. But all someone needs to do is smash me and it's game over." Yancy rolled her eyes at what Jon was saying.

Sgrios chittered softly to himself "information for later" he said to himself -

Jon said "Don't you start getting any ideas." Yancy said "Jon, will you relax? We've just started the journey. And nothing has happened yet. Just stay calm and panic when I say you can." -
Sgrios chuckled softly in amusment at them

Yancy then took out the scroll the seer gave her and looked at it. She said "Alright, according to this map, in order to get to the Thunder Mountains, we need to go through Fire Bird Roost, Claystone Canyon, Glacier Falls and the Forest of Mystery." Jon said "Gee, all those places sound so fun."

Sgrios looked over her shoulder to see the map "i think i recognize some of those places"

Yancy said "Well, my main concern is the Forest of Mystery. That forest has some weird aura around it that nullifies all magic. We'll be completely powerless while in there and it's full of a lot of dangerous creatures."
