"There's no need to apologize!" Stream said. "Don't worry about it. Autumn sounds...nicer."

"I had a sister named Autumn," He sighed. "Until she left me to join a group of strays... We were best friends, at the time.."

Stream paled. "A sister?"

"Yes," He admitted. "I went hostile after she left me... I soften towards cats I know I can trust; for example, you." He nodded towards Stream.

Stream blushed. "Oh, thank you."

"No problem," He purred.

Fin glanced over at them, amused. "Just say you love each other already!"
"Shut up!" Stream retorted. -
"We're friends, Fin," He meowed bitterly. "How about you and Meadow? Fox and... Dog-fox?"

"Pfft. As if," Fin said. "Any chance of THAT happening is about 0.01%."
"So there IS a chance?" Stream said, grinning slyly.
"Hrmph," Fin replied. -
"There is a chance!" He laughed. "You DO like her, don't you?"
Venom's just assuming things. :P)) -
"I love her as much as you love Stream," Fin said cryptically. "Take that as you will."
Stream sighed. "We were so close." -
"What do you mean?" Venom demanded.
Meadow sat down, her tail curled over her paws. "Hmph," She stubbornly snorted. -
"You know perfectly well what I mean," Fin said.
He twitched an ear when Meadow arrived, but made no other movement. "So you're back, are you?"
Stream watched them anxiously, her tail swishing back and forth. -
Meadow snorted as she padded towards the territory they had claimed. "No thanks to you," She growled, padding past them. She had decided that she would go on her own. Hadn't her old abusive father always told her that she was meant to live alone?
