“Oh.” Was all Raishen said. He thought back to the time when his mother forced him to be apprenticed to his Mentor. The man wasn’t cruel or harsh on him, but he was very strict. Though he was, Raishen knew he wanted the best for him, and yet, he had killed him. The memory still haunted Raishen whenever he thought about it. It sent shivers up his spine.

Jenna glanced at Raishen. She didn't know what was going on with her. Suddenly she was able to know his emotions and even feel them a little bit in herself. When did this start?

Raishen felt a weird sensation but didn’t know what it was. He looked over at Jenna and saw her staring at him. He quickly looked away, his cheeks flushing incredibly bright red.

Jenna looked away. This was going to bother her until she knew what was up with her. She was suddenly a person emotion detector, or something like that. -

Raisin felt weird, he just wanted to get to where they were going, and find some answers. -
Jenna decided not to ask him about anything else. She'd let him tell her himself. She felt like he might blow up on her if she asked anything else.

Raishen stumbled along the path. it felt awkward being alone with a girl, but he had to fight through his shyness and get this trip over with.

Jenna wondered. If people could contact each other with their minds, could she contact her mentor? She tried it but it didn't work. "Hmmm," she said, contemplating why it didn't work.
