If one of you(r characters) had to battle against one of my characters, who would be nominated and why?

Oh boy. This is a fun question. It entirely depends on which character you want them to fight, but in a 'random character selection' on your part, i would have to say Gineye.
The reason why is he is quite Letteraly a jack of all trades, as he gains some of the abilitys of eat soul he eats.(in the dnd context that he comes from, he is a bard but has a soul from each class in his ax which allows him to use tge spells and abilitys of any class) but even without that hes pretty powerful, givin his weapon sommoning abilitys and his normal spells. Also, he can posses people and cant die -
