  After searching, Peter found out Wendy got married. Mega oof. He viewed it as betrayal and had a deep hatred for girls ever since, believing them to be nasty and untrustworthy.
  
  So he kidnapped Wendy's daughter (if you're okay with that, if not I can improvise) to get his revenge.
