Thread Topic: Apocalypse Sky Creature Wiki

This side thread is only for those that are part of the Apocalypse Sky roleplay. This is where you can get information and ask questions about the various creatures we will be encountering in the roleplay. Or you can ask questions about anything else in it if you desire. With that out of the way, let's go.

Specimen 1: Pterabat
Pterabats are creatures that superficially reassemble a hybrid between a Pteranodon from the Cretaceous Period and two species of bats (Flying fox and vampire) with no fur and blood red skin. These creatures are about 10 inches in length with a 5 foot wingspan, though larger specimens have been documented. These are one of the more common creatures in Ophiuchus' spawn. When any of these creatures spots a prey item, they will dive right down to them and try to incapacitate it with bites and scratches. Once the target is incapacitated, it will then drain all of the blood from the body until the target dies of exsanguination. Though fast, they are easy to kill, only requiring a single shot to the head or chest.
Specimen 2: Demon Dog
Demon Dogs are quadrupedal creatures about the height and appearances of different canines from large breeds. Shapes and sizes vary due to this. Breeds shown so far are Dalmatian, Rottweiler, German Shepard, Labrador Retriever, Standard Poodle, Mastiff and Great Dane. They are different in that they look like they show stages of severe demodectic mange with skin colored a deep red (no matter the breed), have a mouth full of razor sharp teeth with no visible tongue and are more aggressive than normal dogs. They hunt in packs of three or four and are shown to be highly strong. Prey is usually killed with a simple crushing bite to the cranium or breaking of the neck. These creatures can also be killed by a shot to the head or chest. -
Specimen 3: Radrats
Radrats are quadrupedal creatures that are significantly larger than most common rats. Most have been observed to grow about 10-12 inches tall and are about as common as Pterabats. They are usually found in large family units like normal rats and exhibit behaviors like normal rats. The only exception is that they don't scavenge like normal rats and instead hunt. They usually swarm prey with their vast numbers and use their teeth and three pronged, prehensile tail to kill said prey. Though they can be killed easily, it's best to avoid them in large groups as the risk of death is quite large compared to other creatures of the same size.

Specimen 4: Sistrucrota
Sistrucrotas are creatures that superficially reassemble rattlesnakes of different species. These creatures are about 10-12 inches in length and extremely hostile. Their eyes show a blood red color and, along with the normal snake fangs, their mouths contain a row of pointy teeth. Said fangs can inject a powerful neurotoxin into the bloodstream that will instantly kill most prey by shutting down the entire brain. When attacking prey, they will attempt to mesmerize their prey by moving their body in a wave pattern and rhymically shaking the rattle at the end of their tail. Once the prey is distracted, it is usually killed by a swift bite from the sistrucrota. If this tactic isn't working, the sistrucrota will attempt a more direct attack. They are one of the few creatures that will attack and prey upon Radrats, with varying degrees of success. Must be avoided at all times, if possible. Only engage if one is doing it's dance or actively trying to attack. -
