"Why wouldn't he? I told him we were coming yesterday!" She huffed and knocked again. "He'd better answer!"

Andrew put down the thing he'd been fixing and cleaned up before he went to the door. His eyes brightened when he saw the two.
"Come on in," he said, opening the door. -
Dylan turned around, glaring at her brother. "Told you he'd answer." She nodded her head towards Andrew and stepped in.

Andrew packed up the old fashioned generator he'd been restoring. He had no idea whether or not it'd come in handy later. He turned to the two and clapped his hands together.
"So! What do you two want to do before school starts?" -
"Let's play a board game!" Dylan said excitedly. She took off her shoes and set them by the door. She then bent down and straightened them, making them look as neat as possible.

Andrew chuckled at her excitement and brought out a few board games, setting them down.
