Flareglow sighed and slowly brought herself up onto her shaky paws. Holding the injured one above the ground, she stepped out of the medicine den. The sun was very bright and she narrowed her eyes against it. She spotted Scorchburn and the two apprentices coming into camp.

Rainfall dropped by to visit Bottlebrush. He looked proudly at Sunspot. He had practically raised her, and wished that he could train her himself.
"She's grown a lot," Rainfall commented. Bottlebrush smiled proudly, gazing with a mother's love at her kit.
"I know. I want her to be the best warrior she can be," she said.
