C1 has moved to a quaint little town in the middle of nowhere to start a new life for themselves. When they arrive, they are given a house by Nook Inc and a place in this town to live with four other animal people. Now all they must do is pay off the debt for the house and live their life. Sounds pretty good, but all is not what it seems. This town has a dark secret that the pushy mayor wants to keep hidden. Will C1 discover this truth or will they fail? And what will happen if they find out?
This probably isn't the best plot I could make but I don't see anyone else making a roleplay with Animal Crossing so I'll do it. Plus, I need something fresh.

There will be a turn order so be okay with that
You do not need any knowledge of the Animal Crossing series to join
If you choose to be C1, you are always a human. The others are animals
When making an animal villager, you can either be a character that already exists in the games or you can make your own
When making your own villager, the species must be either a mammal, bird, amphibian, or reptile. Only exception is an octopus
You are allowed to be a mythical animal if you want, but let's try and limit it. We don't want a whole village full of them
