Imogen walked over to Oliver. She hated not taking care of herself/
-
Oliver sat up when he saw her approaching. "I'm sorry."
-
"For what?" Imogen said. "We didn't get killed. You were trying to get none of us killed. Even if it meant driving the car like my dad."
-
"I just can't help feeling like I'm responsible for it. You could have gotten seriously injured," Oliver said.
-
"You could've too," Imogen pointed out.
-
"But you weren't the one driving," Oliver retorted.
-
"You were saving our lives," Imogen said. "Look, if I'm not helping, tell me what I can do."
-
"I don't know what to do now," Oliver said frustratedly. "Hamilton knew who it was. He knew something."
-
"We need to find the maid," Imogen said. "And we also need to get what Mrs. Marlen answered the police."
-
"I guess so," Oliver said, leaning back. "This has gone farther than I expected."
-
"Expect the unexpected," Imogen said. 'I've never actually understood that term. Because if you expect the unexpected, then the unexpected becomes expected, and you can't call it unexpected anymore."
-
"I guess it's one of those paradoxical "never say never" phrases," Oliver said.
-
"I guess so," Imogen said. "And now you got a song stuck in my head."
-
"Don't," he warned.
-
Imogen was about to start singing, then closed her mouth. "Fine," she said.
