It was a rather cold night. Kylie had thought she had grown used to the cold by now, but deep inside she knew she hadn't. She shivered rapidly wrapped in the old coat that she had, the only thing really helping her not freeze too much out there that night. Around her, only empty streets. No cars or anything visible in either direction, it was late though. She didnt think she would be able to get any sleep at all. She leaned bacl against the brick wall behind her, pulling the brim of her hat over her face, doing her best to do so though.

Raven pulled her jacket tighter around herself, her basket of groceries swinging at her elbow. She hated going out on cold nights like this, but it was preferable to starving. Her garden hadn't quite come out yet and she didn't want to kill any of her livestock quite yet. She heard a soft rustle and saw a hunched up figure against the wall.

Kaylie hadnt been able to fall to sleep at all, sitting there with her eyes shut closed. He slightly opened them up as she thought she heard someone say something, but figured she was hearing things considering where she was. If someone saw her, she didnt think they would care any. No one else has, it seemed. Not much, anyway. Still, she peeked from under her cap, but didnt see much due to the dsrkness there. "Huh?" She let out.

Raven jumped. The figure had spoken. "Um, a-are you alright?" she called out.

"Is...is someone there?" Kaylie barely got out, sure she wasnt hesring voices now. She squinted her eyes, able to see the outline of someone there.
