Five merchants leave their hometown of Cyros for a day to sell their wares. When they come back Cyros is empty and broken. How could this happen? What could it mean? But most of all what to do?

Name: Hanson Alister, but is usually called either Han or Alister. He doesn't care which one, but it's usually Alister.
Profession: Um, do you want this to be a world with wizards? Because if not, then I can change the idea I have for their profession.
Gender: Male
Appearance: Messy blonde hair, sharp blue eyes, a scar that reaches from his temple to his chin
Personality: Calculating, can generally tell what people are thinking or are going to do, but he's loyal and kind once you get underneath the hardness that life has put on him.
Fight or flight: Dude, this is MY character. Do you really think he's gonna fly?
Other: He used to be a gang lord. That's where his scar comes from. It was the only way he was able to get money for his family, so he did it. -
There are very few wizards in this RP but Cyros is the city of magic here. But if that's the case why would he be traveling
