"yeah, he's been through enough to be a villain, but he choose to be a good person that people can respect and admire, I respect him for that." Engle said.

Annie looked at Peter. "I only met him a few hours ago."

"then you probably don't know about his hatred of powers." Engle said.

"I actually do, in fact," Annie said. "We talked about it."

"oh, but I know you don't know the reason. Only I know the real reason." Engle said.

"And I'm guessing you can't tell me, huh?" Annie said. She was getting tired from moving the island forward.

"I could, but it might be disrespectful to Peter." Engle said.

"Well then I won't ask," Annie said. "Are we away from the abyss yet?"

" see a small rock pedestal over there, if you land there, both of you could rest." Engle said.

"Okay," Annie said, drifting it over. When it landed, she passed out, her whole body aching as if she'd carries the chunk of rock on her own shoulders.

"see, that's one of the high limitations of telepathy." Engle said.

"What the-" Annie had been falling asleep. "You were poking around inside my brain?"

"no, but I can tell you're eggsauted, it takes lots of training to do stuff with telepathy, you'd have collapsed a long time ago if you did what Peter was doing." Engle said.
