(that would give Mikan depressed god mode)
"I love you too, Aiden." Mikan said -
But I kinda want to))
"Goodbye," Aiden said. He didn't ever want to hang up, but she'd need her rest. -
(what about we go video game alternative mode where you choose a spot where they differentiate and we make that where we save and show both realities after one finishes by the way if we do this can I add a third ending)
"Goodbye." Mikan said then hung up. -
Yes! I like that idea. The alternative ending begins right after she hangs up.))
Aiden put the phone away, sighing. -
Mikan got up and went to pet the cats and tell them the man of the house would be back soon.

Aiden turned over and managed to find some sleep. -
(yep and then I write another alternative ending later)
Mikan slept with images of a pink haired woman floating through her mind saying goodbye and good job on escaping fate. -
Aiden had a horrifying nightmare of Belladonna murdering him and jerked awake in a cold sweat. He relaxed eventually. She would never do something like that.

Mikan was happy with her dream, but for some reason it made her feel great pain

Aiden lay awake for the rest of the night.

Mikan felt the reassuring warmth of the cats around her making her feel better, much less sad.

In the morning, he was sent home with a warning to be gentle with himself. Aiden opened the apartment door and walked in.

Mikan saw Aiden and wasted no time running up and giving him a hug.

Aiden gingerly wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly. They were safe.
