"Okay, I'll try calling Belladonna to see if she knows anything," Aiden said.

"okay." Mikan said dialling Nori's number

Aiden dialled Belladonna's number. "C'mon, pick up!" he muttered.

Nori answered the phone on the other end. "Hello, this is Nori Fields speaking." Nori said

Belladonna did not pick up. Aiden set the phone down with a sigh.

"hey Nori, I was wondering where screech and Griffin are. I got some big news." Mikan said

Aiden waited while Mikan was on the phone.

"oh I have screech right here with me, but I'm afraid you cannot talk to Griffin." Nori said

Aiden pet Trash to pass the time.

Nori handed the phone to screech on the other end. Mikan was getting anxious.

Aiden could see the anxiousness on Mikan's face, the way her fingers tightened ever so slightly around the phone. She was getting nervous.

"hello." Screech said. "Screech! It's been a long time, how's Griffin been?" Mikan said quite fast.

Trash blinked at Mikan, noticing the change in her tone.

"ahh, about that... Griffin died." Screech said. Mikan dropped the phone in shock and put a hand over her mouth. Tears started flowing from her eyes.

Aiden went over to Mikan, holding her gently. "I'm so sorry."
