Rasia nodded. "I just like this kind of stuff," she said, picking up a dusty chipped clay jar. "I don't know why."

"I like tinkering and restoring these things," Mink admitted. "Other people see the broken, but I look forward the beauty."

Rasia frowned. Why couldn't the people back on - well, I suppose this isn't Earth - see the beauty in another life? why did they have to kill?

Mink saw Rasia frown. "Hmm? Is something wrong?"

Rasia put the jar back on the shelf. "No. I was just thinking about where we used to be."

"Oh. The trick is, when people get me down, I make my own world. A world full of kind people who are nice to me. And I make them go on adventures. Then things aren't so bad."
