(We can just say you were teaching the curriculum and then the bell rang for lunch time)

And . . . the bell rang for lunch. Robin watched the kids leave, and then decided to go get her lunch and join them (that's how they do it at my school, anyways, teachers eat with their students).

Eris jumps out of her seat and DASHES to the door.

Robin grabbed her lunch, and followed the kids.

Owen ran to catch up with Eris.
"Wow, it's been a long time since I've seen you." -

"Same!" Eris said as she sat down at a table by herself. She didn't have any friends to sit by.

Robin sat down at a table, and saw Owen and Eris getting along really well.
(What exactly is the teacher here for?) -
(maybe she's just stalking them)
Owen sat next to her, his lunch tray clattering loudly when he set it down.
"D'you think you could show me around?" he asked, eagerly. -
