I will be posting some new information that will be relevant soon in the plot line. Please feel free to use this thread to ask any questions, edit/add to your character sheets, etc. :) -
beepbeepmouse NewbieYour characters will have the opportunity to join one of two teams:
1. Envoys (Aka rebels, freedom fighters, anti-government)
2. Special Battalion (Aka SB, Government-led task force specially created to find and arrest Envoys)
Characters who only follow the news know:
-Envoys are considered terrorists by the government
-Anyone who turns in an Envoy or gives the government tips about their hideouts gets paid an immense amount of money (i.e. enough to change your life)
-The number of Envoys is unknown, but estimates predict there are only a few hundred
Characters with connections know:
-There are rumors of an Elite being a member (or the leader) of the Envoys, but the government has done a good job at keeping the public unaware
-This rumored Elite is attending the party
-The government requested that weapons be permitted in the event that the envoys attempt to attack any government officials/Elite; potentially becoming a bloodbath that they can sway to be an attack by the "terrorist Envoys"
What no character knows, but it's good for you to know:
-The party goers with their digital I.D.s invisible are higher-ups in both the Envoy and SB "teams"
-Alyce is the Envoy recruit
-Zea is the SB recruit
-Your character will have the opportunity to chose their side after the party arc -
@Dark: At the moment Milo is about to hack into whoever sent Nora the message about wanting illegal cybernetics under the name "Joshua Hamilton" so he can locate the person who sent the message and see if it's a scam
I dunno if it's okay with SE but I thought it'd be interesting if Milo located the person and it led him to one of your characters, like they were trying to get her there to recruit her and whatnot (again, idk if it's okay with SE) -

Big brain moment here:
I don't know if I ever mentioned it before, but Hailey's family is pretty darn rich because they own a transit company. The accident that killed her parents and took her legs was an attack on a train. I'm highkey thinking the Envoys staged the attack... As far as Hailey knows... -

i'm going to be dropping out of this for a bit. I'm not happy with my current writing skill set, nor am i happy with how my characters feel personality wise. i also get so unmotivated and I feel bad making you all wait on a response that is probably not going to come for weeks.
If you guys want to continue without me or use the base plot to make your own, feel free. or if you are willing to wait, that is OK too, but i have no clue how long it will be until i find faith in my capabilities. -
