((LETS START))
Simon looked at the billboard on the school wall. "Science Fair!" it had read. Simon felt like it was mocking her, it was in a month. Still, she could barely wait. She needed some form of support from her friend, (C2 your cue) and her own parents. Well, her spirits. When anybody had asked where her parents were at school events, she would always say they were resting.
"But WHERE?" the kids would ask.
"In heaven," she would say dreamily. Kids often mocked her for this and her nerdiness, especially Jordi. On her worst days, Simon would think of Jordi as "Jordi the j e r k." After all, Jordi had no feelings, no heart, and absoloutely no remorse. -
Mrs. Zayne looked at the list of partners for the English assignment. I hope the students aren't too upset. she thought, folding the list and sticking it in her desk drawer. She sighed and put her head on her desk, waiting for the bell to ring so she could start class.
-
As Reese Kirke waited for class to start, she started doodling ballerina slippers on a blank page in her notebook. After getting bored of that, she thought of Jordi and started drawing hearts and writing his name inside the shapes. She started to feel embarrassed and put the notebook away. What if somebody in class saw that and found out about her secret? Probably best not to do that anymore.
-
Simon eventually went to her first hour, English, right when the bell rang. Whew, she thought. NOT tardy! She wondered what they were doing for English this unit. They had just finished one on poems, and now they were starting a new one. SImon looked around the room, which she did every morning. She did that every morning to see if the bully was here or not.

((I guess I'll make a character card for C2, so here goes:
Name: Tay
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Looks (face and outfit): Blonde hair, brown eyes, chubby face and body. Usually wears red jacket and jeans.
Personality: Kind, likes to joke, and he is C2!
Fears/weaknesses: Crabs
Other: ??? (Didn't know what to put))) -
Mrs. Zayne stood up. "Class, we are doing a assignment for the beginning of this unit. You, and your partner will work together to write an argumentative essay." She watched as the class started to whisper and cheer. "I will assign your partners," she added, giving the class a look. "First partnership: Tay and Reese. Second partnership: Jordi and Simon…." she read all the names off, then said, "The assignments are due next Monday." She continued to teach them about argumentative essays, and what she would expect to be in them.
-
Reese thought that argumentative essays sounded pretty fun, at least more so than poems. She was also happy to have Tay as a partner, although there was a slight disappointment in the back of her mind about Jordi not being assigned to work with her. It was funny, because just a minute ago she had been terrified that she was going to get partnered with him. She supposed that was just how love worked. She started musing over ideas she had stored in her brain that would be useful for the essay.

Jordi was already in English class before the bell rang, and when Simon entered, (almost late but not quite,) he gave her a cold stare. It was as if to say 'really? Shouldnt you take education more seriously?'.
He already had his notebook opened and prepared, studious as always. Whenever Mrs. Zayne calls out the partners, Jordi frowns. Just his luck, to be paired with someone whom he didn't particularly like. Jordi always made excuses as to why he didn't like people, even simple things like: his bookbag is overfilled so they must be unorganized, she has on makeup and probably cares too much about appearances, he never takes notes so they must not take school seriously. Jordi would never admit that underneath that pretentious attitude he actually was just afraid to get close to his peers. People who tried to make conversation with him often found that it was like talking to a stone wall.
