Thread Topic: Me learning to develop characters

Credit to Katqueen for the idea of a solo rp. Credit to anyone who thought of the plot for the characters I want to develop just so I can keep track.
I'll start with Cordelia's story.
Name: Cordelia
Age:4
Appearance: Dark brown long hair with green eyes. She wears a pink bow in her hair that matches her dress. She has pale ivory skin.
Friends: Thebea, Coco
Parent: Medusa
Name: Thebea
Age: 4
Appearance: Long blonde hair and light brown eyes. She has a blue bow in her hair that matches her dress. She has rose beige skin.
Friends: Cordelia, Coco
Parent: Athena
Name: Coco
Age: 4
Appearance: Short black hair and dark blue eyes. She has a yellow bow in her hair that matches her dress. She has honey skin.
Friends: Thebea, Cordelia

Cordelia walks to school with her friends, Thebea and Coco. She loved them both dearly, and was going to ask them to have a sleepover at her house. But she wanted to wait until recess, when the time was right. Cordelia listens to every word that Coco says about her new pet, Ginger. While she is happy for Coco, she is also sad because she knows that she can't have a pet. Cordelia knows the pet might wander in her mother's room and get turned to stone. Cordelia was never allowed in her mother's room, as it is the only place Medusa can take off her mask without having to worry about turning things to stone. They get to the school, and Cordelia sits in between Thebea and Coco. She listens to all of the things her teacher, Mr. Peck, is saying. Finally, it is time for recess.

Thebea leaves her house and starts to walk to school with her friends, Coco and Cordelia. She loves her friends, but not as much as she loves herself. Suddenly, Coco starts talking about her new pet, Ginger. Is she trying to brag? Well, if Coco was, she wasn't bragging enough. Thebea already has a pet, a dog named Realm. Realm was a golden retriever, and Thebea has known him ever since she was born. She wants to talk about Realm, but she knows that she has it better than both Coco and Cordelia, and everyone knows it. She didn't want to brag, because then it would make Coco and Cordelia sad. Realm is obviously the superior pet. Thebea gets to school, and sits on the right side of Cordelia. She can't help but hear the boys' chatter, and she was in shock that they were talking about Cordelia. Last time Thebea checked, they were talking about her. Why are they talking about Cordelia? I mean, hello people! Thebea was definitely ten times prettier than both of her friends. She misses the lesson, and hears the recess bell.

Coco is jumping with joy. She can't believe her father let her get her first pet! She was so excited. Coco could not wait to tell her friends about her new cat, Ginger. When she saw the two of them, she skipped over to them. "You two will not believe what just happened! Dad is letting me have my first pet! It's an orange cat, named Ginger! She's so fluffy and cute and I love her soooooo much. I can't wait for you guys to meet her!" Coco was so excited, she did not realize that she talked the whole way to school. She sat on the left side of Cordelia, and was feeling very thankful that her friends let her talk that much. She loved Cordelia's kindness and Thebea's grace. She liked them both for the different qualities they had. Coco could not wait for recess, she just wanted to get all of her energy out. After a couple of long minutes, she heard the bell ring.

Cordelia motioned for her friends to come over to her, by the playground, in their usual spot. Once they both arrived, Cordelia handed them both envelopes. The girls looked confused. "Open it!" She smiled. Cordelia watched as the girls opened the envelopes, with a smile growing on their faces. "So, what do you say?" Cordelia asked. They both gave positive responses. Cordelia then hugged the two of them. "I'm so happy you guys are my friends!" She smiled. Suddenly, the lunch bell rang. The girls went inside, and ate their lunches, talking about a variety of things. Before she knew it, it was time to go home. Cordelia walked home with the girls, and went inside her house. "Mom! Mom! They said yes! This weekend they'll be over." Cordelia giggled and went in her room to do some homework.

Thebea walked over to where Cordelia was motioning. Cordelia gave her and Coco an envelope. What were they supposed to do with that? Thebea and Coco looked at each other, unsure what to do. Cordelia told them to open it. Thebea ripped open the envelope, and read what was on the card. She smiled, she would love to have a sleepover with Cordelia and Coco. But mostly Coco, as the boys talking about Cordelia made her a little angry at Cordelia. They chattered at lunch, but Thebea couldn't help but hear everything others were saying about Cordelia. Why were they all so obsessed with her? Suddenly, Thebea hears a boy say that Cordelia is the prettiest girl in the school. What? That doesn't even make sense! It must have been a mistake. A terrible mistake. Thebea kept her cool and walked home with the girls. When she reached her house, she cried to her mother. "The boys said she was the prettiest! " Athena narrowed her eyes. "I never liked that you were hanging out with the daughter of Medusa." This confused Thebea, but Athena kept on going. "You know, Cordelia probably knows that the boys are saying that. She's trying to steal your spotlight. And I don't like that. Why don't we teach that girl a lesson?" Thebea looked at her mom in shock. "Cordelia is my friend, she wouldn't do that!" Athena looked at Thebea. "You are too pure to be hanging out with that witch. She has many tricks up her sleeve, and this is one of them. She is using you to make herself look better." Thebea gasped. It never occurred to her. "So I shouldn't be her friend?" Thebea asked. "And how do I get everyone to talk about me?" Athena smirked, and motioned Thebea to follow. "I know a spell that will put that little girl right in her place!"
