Dina recognized the voice. "Armagona?" Dina asked. She did not know he was there. "There is no earthquake. I shook the tree in anger and did not see you resting. Sorry for the scare." She said the last part quietly, she hated apologizing.

Armagona heard Dina's voice and looked to see her. He sighed and said "That's a good thing. For a minute there, I thought the forest was gonna break in half." He sat back up and said "SO why were you mad at the tree?"

Dina laughed when Armagona said he thought the forest would break in half. She looked at Armagona, "I can't find any prey! I usually find stuff by now. I just needed to take my anger out. That tree was the perfect thing for me to do that."

Armagona said "You gotta have patience when you hunt. That's why the hunters do so well. Sure, sometimes they give up but they can't get mad because no prey had been around. Otherwise, they scare the prey away."

"I'm usually pretty good, but the food supply is running low and I really need to get something. Why is it always on the days I need it the prey aren't there?" She says the last line in anger.

Armagona said "That's because they know you're looking for them. It's the law of the jungle, hide and live another day or fight and be possibly be killed." He then looked and said "I hear something. It sounds like footsteps."

Dina sighed. "I know, I'm just really not in the mood." After Armagona said he heard footsteps, Dina went silent. She listened carefully.

Armagona grabbed Dina with his mouth and climbed up the tree to hide. Three human soldiers walked out of the woods and one said "Are you sure you saw a dragon here?" A different soldier said "Yes, I swear to you I saw one. It was hard to see but I saw it."

Dina looked at the soldiers in awe. Suddenly, she came out of hiding and walked up to the soldiers. "What are you guys doing here? Are you guys talking about dragons?" Dina scoffed. "If you guys were, then you're outta your f---ing mind. I've lived in these parts my whole life and have never seen a dragon."

Armagona watched Dina and whispered "What on Earth is she doing?" The soldiers were surprised by the sudden appearance of this strange woman and one said "I know what I saw and it was the green wings of a dragon." A different soldier asked "Who even are you, lady? How did you survive out here?"

"You learn to survive when you were raised by wolves." She laughed. "You both have no reason to be here. Dragons? You're confused. You musta saw somethin else."

The soldier said "I'm telling you, I saw it." While he argued with the girl, the other soldiers got bored and looked around at the trees. Armagona had to come up with something. He grabbed a stick and threw it into some nearby brush. It appeared to have disturbed a bear sleeping there and as it rose, the soldiers looked and stared at the bear. It looked at them and it seemed a little mad. They all started to walk backwards slowly and then run away. The bear then walked away in the other direction.

Dina laughed and looked at Armagona. "Nothing to be afraid of." She looked around silently, and hoped to hear the sound of a small animal.

Armagona came down and said "Why are there human hunters here? Where did they come from and how did they see me? I'm supposed to blend in with the trees. This doesn't seem good."
