Can I just kind of lay claim to all the cryptids?
Like
Specifically el chupacabra and mothman?
Like I don’t plan on making every single cryptid a character, it’s just for JD’s story, I don’t want to be talking about other people’s charcaters,

A cryptid is a creature that a ton of people claimed to have seen in the modern day, but no concrete evidence for them is there. Creatures like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster.

I’m going to make character sheets for two of JDS friends. -
Name: Mothman
Age: I’m not quite sure actually
Gender: Bigender ( they/them)
Sexuality: pan sexual
Species:: Mothman
Appearance: mothman has slight shape shifting abilities, and so can have short hair one moment, and long hair the next. Their hair is light brown.
If you google havenfall is for lovers mothman you’d get a better idea of what they look like.
Personality: moth,an is an intellectual, easily flustered, rather kind and considerate. Mothman is the mum friend tm
Fears: being eaten by a chimera ( actually a thing that almost happened.) , Spring Heeled Jack. Satan getting angry
Desires: to find their best friend
Powers: mothman can fly, has slight manipulation over light, super strength, speed and enhanced reflexes
Weaknesses: just kind of normal weaknesses, while immortal moth man can still be injured I believe? Possibly not killed since a lot of cryptids are shot at to no affect, but I do not believe mothman is one of them.

Age: I don’t actually know
Gender: gender fluid ( she/ they pronouns.)
Sexuality: pan sexual
Species: Chupacabra
Appearance: El has darker skin, and magenta eyes. Her hair is light brown, and wavy. It goes down to her waist.
In her transformation state, she has spikes coming out of her spine to her head, she has red eyes, and elongated teeth and claws
Personality: El is a big mood, she’s feisty, playful, and a troll.
Fears: not being able to get JD back, or her name back.
Desires: to find JD/ get her name back from her ex boyfriend
Powers: she’s fast, invulnerable to an extent, gains strength from consuming blood. She can teleport certain distances, she can meld into the shadows, her claws are sharp, and her quills are toxic.
Weaknesses: Silver
Bio: all you need to know is her Fae ex boyfriend tricked her and took her name in order to have power over her, but JD reminded her she was also the EL chupacabra, so that became her name

( When at their prime, Jd was capable of making people forget they saw them.)
I don’t think I actually mentioned that JD can fly?? They have wings but I didn’t mention they could fly.
JD again, is surprisingly durable. Not invulnerable, but they take a lot of damage before going down, since the Jersey devil has only really been allegedly hit with canon balls,
They still have their weaknesses these are just 3 things I forgot to mention -
Subtle implication that the entire state of West Virginia is a cryptic -
Huh, so the Jersey Devil is a mythical creature like Bigfoot or The Lochness Monster who lives in New Jersey.
I didn't know that America had their own mythology. Cool! -
Actually Cryptids aren’t American, Bigfoot and nessie are Cryptids
Though, I find it hilarious to imagine that in a world of cryptids...bigfoot still isn’t real.
I’d look into it, it’s a lot of fun. -
Okay, so everyone has been really good with Roman.
The issue is that a few times JD has been called a boy, so I’m just going to post this every time it happens, just to help remind everyone,
JD goes by they/them pronouns just like Roman. -
Sorry bout that, JD’s personality leans a lot more to the male side than Roman’s so sometimes I get it mixed up. I have caught myself and edited my post a few times but I’m not sure if I always catch myself.

Request:
Anything that generates fire , eg candles, fireplace etc etc that your character is around.
If you could describe them as being lit with fire that would be great thanks.
