Kalvin pulled himself through the vent. He could hear the guards clanging down the hall towards them, so he stretched a hand down to help Draco up

Draco careful grabbed Kalvin's hand and pulled himself up

Kalvin closed back the vent after Draco came inside, just as the guards ran into the room, weapons ready but confused because the monsters weren't in sight

Which direction should we go said draco after the guards left

Kalvin did eenie meenie miney moe and decided on left. He honestly didn't know for sure which one would lead to an exit

Kalvin kicked at the vent until it broke open. He stretched his body out to the ground and held out a hand for Draco to follow through

Kalvin was so happy to be out of the lab. He took it in for a second, but he knew they had to go farther away, "Come on"

It was dark out so they stayed out of sight by keeping to the shadows. Kalvin walked until he was tired
