Rules for this : if someone is absent for three days, they can be skipped until their next turn.
Then a further three days must pass before hey can be skipped again.
If they go over three missed turns, they can automatically be skipped until they return.
( to make potential absences easier on returning to the soap, a player can choose another player to temporarily use their character, if they so wish. This must be stated in this thread by that player. )
If you feel you need to drop out for any time, let me know and we can decide what can be done for your character, if you want a definitive ‘ he / she /they are dead’ then that’s fine, but I’m willing to allow situations that leave an opening for a return.
If you are aware that you may possibly miss 3 turn cycles, then let me know and we can come to an agreement about what will be done.
Now to set the scene:
While this will focus on gang activity, the plot starts off with a more...humorous beginning.
In which the sins / follower say of the gang allowed to be around Viola, attempt to keep her ignorant about their identities as the seven deadly sins, while also trying to put a stop to a gambling den , with a mysterious player who is undermining the sins’ rules in regards to paying protection fees and the like.

This is not however the main plot, more of a beginning arc to allow everyone time to get used to their characters. I’m testing out this new style to see if it will work, after this arc has been finished a new one will begin, which will be ...more serious.

So without further ado I will begin in the next post. -
Quinn was the first of their...rag tag little group to arrive. The place in question was the home of the sin of greed, Ban. They checked their non-existent watch, as they quietly made their way inside without bothering to knock. They just opened the door and went inside the building.
The reason why the group was meeting here in the first place was for one simple thing.
It was the birthday of Ban’s daughter. It was an odd thing, but the rather odd assortment of people had become surrogate aunts and uncles to the thief’s child.
They were holding a small box, as a gift for the girl, who likely hadn’t returned from school yet. The house was set up with decorations in white and blue. Quinn entered the living room and took a spot on the couch. They couldn’t be bothered waiting for Ban to hear them knock, answer the door, for them to greet each other, and then to be invited inside. So they just cut out the middle man.
( I couldn’t find a term I could use for the two non binary characters in place of uncle or aunt, but if anyone has a suggestion that would be welcome.)

The birthday girl, was in fact at school. Viola presented herself as a very kind young lady, and this combined with her families wealth, and fame, along with her soft and pretty looks made her rather popular.
She had accumulated quite a large amount of gifts from those who considered themselves as her friends.
Viola had graciously accepted each with cheerful thank yous, and false compliments.
The presents she was really anticipating we’re form her family, since her dad thought it would be funny to make her wait to receive them until after school.
( I realised I forgot to include some stuff on the character sheet that’s in the plot.
Can everyone choose what their character’s role is in the public eye, outside of their hidden identity as a sin.
Wrath I think was stated in the plot to be a mayor or something of the town, as well as the sins leader. So if when your turn rolls around you can state.
Again this can be any celebrity position, or even simple as just very popular in town because of chairity work.)
Runner, for your character I forgot to include that he works for ONE of the seven specific factions.

August Dimenichi NewbieCooper approached the house of their acquaintance, Ban, and knocked on the door politely. They had been told before that walking into someone’s house uninvited was rude and creepy once, albeit a long time ago, but they took a lot of the information they gathered very seriously. The red haired sin waited patiently, wondering what the others had brought as gifts. They had brought a large parcel, after asking a couple of 5e others what Viola might want or need. They, of course, had no idea what would be most practical.
Cooper will be a well known model, I guess?? Lmao they can’t do anything that involves emotions)) -

Vanity smiled proudly as she strutted over to the large house of Greed, pulling a wagon behind her. This wagon contained an overly large present, wrapped in gold wrapping paper, red ribbon, and an oversized bow. Pride always liked to make a statement. Vanity grinned as she knocked on the door, pausing to answer a phone call from her human ‘manager’. “I’m sorry, I won’t be able to make it to the concert.” She told him. “But you’re scheduled to perform in twenty minutes! We’ve spent weeks preparing! We spent thousands of dollars on this contest!” Her manager panicked. “Do you want to lose your job Jerry? I said I cannot make it.” Vanity told him, rolling her eyes. “Your fans will be disappointed.” He muttered. “No they won’t. Tell this to the media: Vanity Jazz missed her concert, which she spent thousands of dollars on, in order to attend the birthday party of a misfit girl who had no friends to come. The fans will eat it up.” Vanity told him. “Very well, you’re the boss.” He sighed. “You finally said something smart! Don’t be so glum darling, you can’t help it that I’m better than you.” Vanity told him before hanging up and knocking again. -

Erratum hummed quietly as he waited patently for his driver to arive at Ban's home, idly drumming his fingers on the side of his cane out of boredom. He frowned and then lowered a hand to touch the box that was sitting next to him, a little worried that he had put the wrapping paper on wrong
Ban grinned as he heard the front door open and set down the spatula he was holding to see which person had arrived first. "Hey Quinn, looks like your the first one here, could have knocked first though" he said before striding over to the door when he heard knocking. "Heya guys" he said as he pulled tge door open, looking amused when he spotted the wagon Vanity was pulling before walking back towards the kitchen, leaving tge door open "come on in, put the gifts....uh somewhere. Probably on a table" he said, waving a hand absentmindedly -

Vanya sped through the streets on her motorcycle, she wasn't really in a hurry this was just how she drove. It was rare that she drove herself around because she usually used that time to work or do something else but she'd cleared out her day for this so she was going to enjoy speeding down the roads. She pulled into the driveway and parked her motorcycle, she noticed some of the others had already arrived. She pulled out her phone and replied to the emails that had come in since she'd left the house after they had all been replied to she put her phone away and got off the bike and took her helmet off and shoved it in her backpack as she took the present out of it and left the bag by the bike. She walked into the house and set the gift down on a table.

Diane decided to walk to Ban's house, wasn't that far and why use transportation when you could get some exercise. She was humming to music she was listening to while carrying a medium sized present. When she got there she stopped her music before going in and when she did go in she just found the rest of the presents and put hers with them. Still humming her song that was playing before.

Andrew was walking towards Ban's house, holding a present in his hands and he was on a urgent mission so he would just give the present to the birthday girl then would . After he went in , he placed the present then left the house with haste. -
“That would take too long.” Quinn scoffed as they read something on their phone. Quinn then looked up as everyone piled in. Quinn watched as Andrew left. “ humph. So tiresome.” They remarked as they took over the rest of the couch.
Quinn tossed the box they had brought at Ban. “ catch.” They yawned.
Viola had just been let out of school, and had been dropped off at her house, in time to see Andrew leaving. The realisation struck, as she quickly entered the house.
The girl smiled when she saw the decorations, though she did want to know how her dad had managed to get some of the decorations up so high.
“ happy birthday.” Quinn called without seeming to glance towards the door. -
August Dimenichi NewbieCooper stepped into the house and placed their package on the table with the others. When Viola arrived, they gave a curt nod in her direction and nothing more. They pushed a red hair away from their face as they watched the others, standing silently in the corner of the room.
