The god/goddess of outer space finds themselves stuck on Earth, in a human body. They must find their way back to the stars before chaos erupts in the heavens. Unfortunately(or maybe fortunately) they fall in love with a human meteorologist, who's fascinated by them and begs them not to return.

Way above the heavens, hurtling towards Earth, was a star.
It was bright but it was small. And as it got closer and closer to the ground it go smaller. The once celestial being known as Mother Noctis was simply Noctis as she crashed into Earth's soil, in a human body and with no way of contacting home. A giant crater lay in her wake as she drowsily awake, looking around in wonder. Where was she? She couldn't be certain. There were many planes that held plant life so she wasn't certain which this could be. Most daunting of her problems, however, was the fact that she could no longer use her powers. Her form had been... downsized. -
In a city, on the roof of an apartment building, stood meteorologist Dustin Reicher, looking through a telescope trying to catalogue some constellations. He saw the meteor that wasn't said to be coming. He saw it landed in a field outside of town and decided to check it out.

Noctis got up and dusted off her dress, walking awkwardly out the crater. she was used to floating around rather then walking.
