"Remember the golden years? When people were afraid to leave their homes and everyone knew our names? Ah, the good old days!" Piers stared dreamily into the distance.
-
Cordelia returned carrying drinks, she’d used her powers to increase the probability of everyone getting their favourite drinks.
She then sat down in the seat her father had pulled out for her. He stood behind her protectively, hands in the chair, though one picked up his coffee with a great full murmur.
“ you’re absolutely right old friend, these pitiful fools don’t understand how to properly be a villain.” He agreed. “ and those heroes are just pathetic.” He agreed. -
*He waved enthusiastically at Akumu. "Kumy!" he cried.
-
Akumu gave Piers a flat look. "Dont ever call me that." he said before looking at Finn, his eye glowing faintly "i have noticed this as well. So what do you plam to do about it hm?
-
Finn said "I propose we come out of retirement. We give these two-bit heroes something to fear. We'll make them wish they never became heroes and everyone will know who we are."
-
My younger brother smashed my iPad )
Cordelia placed the drinks in front of them all as she nibbles on a cookie listening in, she wondered what her father would do.
“ now that is an idea I can get behind.” The former lucky villain said with a vindictive smirk. -
Re-writing my post.)
Cordelia placed the drinks in front of each man, using her luck to hopefully select the right one. Her father sipped his black coffee and hummed gently.
The teenager gently sipped her frappe, as she looked up at him.
“ now that , old friend is an idea that I can get behind.” The man said as he squeezed his daughters shoulder. “ so little potential among these so called villains, and zero skill. we should fix that.” -
Piers clapped his hands together. "I can't wait to kill again! Stretch out these old powers of mine!" He grinned and flexed his fingers, uncontrollable excitement overtaking him as always.
-
Akumu hummed softly in thought, entwining his fingers together "that sounds like an interesting prospect" he said slowly, a smirk appearing on his face
-
Nathaniel chuckled lightly at the excitement coming from piers. He couldn’t lie, he hadn’t exactly stopped killing, since Cordelia often got herself into these kinds of situations where that really was the outcome.
Cordelia snorted, fully aware that her father had done exactly that before he’d come to the coffee shop. Though she was interested in the idea of doing what her fatehr had done -
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get out there! Turn some wanna-be heroes into dust! Maybe if we're lucky, we'll find some villains with potential to train! Ooooo, after I killed my last apprentice, I've just been itching for a new one! What about you, Cordy? Have you ever seen real mayhem?" Piers talked in his fast, jitterish voice as he tried to sit back down in his seat.
-
Fin said "Calm yourself, Piers. Since we're all in agreement, we'll have to wait until a hero shows up thinking they could stop anything. Then we show up and give him a dose of reality."
-
“ interesting plan.” Nathaniel hummed. “ but wouldn’t it be more enjoyable, to stir the problem first? Make them suspicious of our return? And wait until the perfect moment to let everyone know of our return.” Nathaniel stated as he kept his hands on his daughter.
Cordelia glanced towards Piers before Shen sighed “ unfortunately not much, beyond minor fraud, and assault.” She sighed gently.
“ don’t forget the arson” her father reminded.
“ now that was an accident.”
“ you torched two buildings dear.” -
"Arson is fun! Shame you haven't seen that much action though. C'mon, let's get going! Stir up trouble like Natey said! I can't wait anymore!" Piers managed to sit back in his seat and held on tightly to it as to keep himself from wiggling around.

(Cordelia’s theme song - foreshadowing to her mother??? Who knows???)
Nathaniel grinned as he sipped his coffee. “Mmm, it’s been a while since I’ve been able to really...let loose.” The mans eyes snapped towards a building that had a rusty fire escape on it, along with a couple of men sitting on it, likely drunk.
The fire escape started to creak as it fell free.
