C1 has been C2’s imaginary friend for as long as they remember. In reality, C1 is a ghost who only C2 can communicate with. When C2 becomes a teenager, they wish to grow out of having an imaginary friend and start to try to get rid of C1. However C1 wants C2 to be their best friend forever, even if that means making sure C2 has no choice but to be their friend.

Dark beauty and the beast?
Like c1, the beast actually has c2 kidnapped from the village,
Plot
C1 is the cursed prince of a nearby kingdom, cursed to protect the object of his desires...c2. C1 however has learnt magic and broken the wall, and with the curse of the beast making them More powerful, and they send their staff to bring them C2,
C2 leaves willingly to protect their village. And so...c2 tries to return C1 to the good person they were before.
Crappy plot but idk -
