Mia left and went back to grab Kurieite. Mia dragged him to the table. Then once again took her seat to eat her lunch,
Roman raised an eyebrow. “ what does it look like?” They asked. “ clearly we’re having curry.” They said sarcastically. “ short rib, we’re having short rib.” Mia cut in before Roman could go in a rant.
Roman sat down already in a bad mood. -
Kurieite blinked as he was dragged to the table, looking over at Roman. "Do you need hugs? You look like you need hugs"

The little raven arrived to the little farm house and sat in the window, watching the children. As she watched the family, she quickly began to realize she didn’t have a plan. However the site of the family still calmed her. All her life, she had seen no affection towards her. Nothing but hate and disputes. Nothing but fear or humiliation. The only people who showed her care at least were all broken families living broken lives, longing for these children to be returned. Yet this family, with the parents not home, seemed to get along well, a sort of interaction with each other she longed for. If she returned them home she would get that respect, and perhaps be able to find a family of her own.

Aaron said "He needs more than a hug, he needs a chill pill." He then grabbed his own plate and Chris' and they both sat down.

Roman stood up slamming their hands against the table.” He?” They spat angrily, “ I expected better from you.” They said as they pushed their chair in and left the house. They moved to take their lunch outside, when they spotted a particularly beautiful bird sitting on the windowsill.
“ hello there sweet thing.” Roman said as they picked her up gently, completely unaware to what they were doing. They held the bird close to them. They sat down at the outdoor table to eat their food. Petting the bird carefully.
Mia sighed and gave Aaron a look. “ you shouldn’t have been making fun of them anyway, keep your ‘clever’ remarks to yourself,” she sighed. She then just dug into lunch. -
Kurieite looked worried and followed Roman outside to make sure they where ok

Echo watched them curiously as they stormed out, wondering what was said to anger them. She tilted her head curiously at the breath taking teen, feeling an odd connection. Perhaps it was something to do with the fact that she couldn’t tell if they were a boy or a girl, just as most couldn’t tell at first glance if Echo was a leprechaun or vampire.
Echo realized she lost her chance to fly away when the child, clearly Amara, the child of the goddess she could never remember the long name of for some odd reason, spotted her. Echo tilted her head in confusion upon the unfamiliar tone of voice and sound of a compliment. Before she knew it she was in their arms, bathed in the warmth of their chest and petted carefully. Her feathers tingled and had she been her true form she would be blushing uncontrollably and babbling in confusion. Echo felt tense, flustered, confused, panicked, and surprised at this amount of affection, having never even gotten a pinch of it from anyone she knew, not even her own mother, not even from Clover. Clover cared but, she didn’t have much time for affection. This was an odd experience for Echo, and it thrilled her, even if she knew they’d stop if they knew who she really was. -
(I'm making it that Aaron makes this kind of mistake most of the time.)
Aaron said to Mia "What? I made a mistake, I'm sorry. It's not my fault I'm so used to using normal pronouns. Their reaction is more evidence that they need a chill pill." Chris just sat quiet on the matter. -
Mia gave Aaron a look before standing up. “ Chris, it’s time for you to go home.” The eldest teen said. “ Aaron will see you at school tomorrow.” The red headed girl said her voice stern and hard as she motioned for Chris to get his stuff and leave out.
Mia was furious, but keeping it concealed, not scolding Aaron in front of Chris.
Roman hummed lightly waving at Kurieite with a sad smile. They stroked the bird gently with the same hand. -
Kurieite saw the bird in his arms and tilted his head "where'd you fibd the raven?" he said quietly

Lucy entered the kitchen nervously, grabbing a second tub of ice cream from the fridge before leaving for her room and eating it in there, the door locked so Mia wouldn't rage at her too.
Echo cooed softly from the affection, tucking her head shyly under her wing. -
Aaron said "Anything you can say in front of me, you can say in front of Chris." Chris said "Actually, I do have to go. My mom needs me." He got up and said "Goodbye." as he left.

Mia gave him a look. “ No. this isn’t am I need to tell you something moment, this was a punishment, you do not get to misgender your sibling and then mock them in front of company, you don’t even know the kind of bullying Roman experiences they don’t deserve it , they have went with those pronouns since before you could walk.” She said voice cold. “ Roman spent hours making you lunch, and you mock them at the table, look maybe misgendering them was an accident, but it happens too frequently, you shouldn’t have made fun of them, when they get like that there’s no reasoning with them.” She said as she stared him in the eyes, gaze sharp and steely,
Roman smiled tightly, “ I found her in the windowsill, she probably heard that little s--- call me a boy again.” They muttered just done with the whole thing.
