Intro~
“The organization is all they’ve ever known! We can’t let them leave and expose what we are doing! They’ll never trust us again, the world will discover us! Damned brats... what we gave them were gifts of god... and now... they want to explore the world only to realize... everything they’ve come to know is false. We raised these kids- I RAISED THESE KIDS!! ... Uhg... sniff... sorry for shouting... but their gods are false and their way of life is too. Can the real world except them...? I’m not ready to let them go, Doctor Ivry.”
Plot~
A group of children, of various ages are about to experience a world, from which they’ve only heard bed time stories of. Their “father” had adopted these children and cared for them. They were raised in an off the grid area where they were given abilities or “aberrations” to create a higher level human being. Some of these “aberrations” were more mutant like than others while some were hardly noticeable. In all honesty, they gained these powers from a unknown doctor with an advance mind of his own.
The children’s “father” was only known as “father”. He really loved the kids. He also loved to see the unique individuals they would become. The children were averted from the knowledge Christianity, because of the truth that would come out. The truth that their abilities were not supposed to be allowed. The truth that those experiments are illegal. The truth that society may never accept them or will fear them.
The doctor wants to take a new test with the children by letting them explore a bit and sending them to live as a group for 1 year. The father is not allowed to visit or intervene. There is a butler who will take care of the children in his place. The doctor will be watching how the interact with life and how they may merge in the real world so there are cameras everywhere! How will the group hold up in the real world? How will they take it when they discover everything their “ father” said was a lie?
The children’s teachings~
Religion:
They were told that there was three different planes of existence. 1, was the celestial realm where the divine live peaceful and harmonious lives, 2, was the nether realm where the infernal beast ruled in a chaotic and destructive manner, and 3, was the middle plain of existence where the humans took hold of both of these traits to become the balance. The children were taught that their “aberrations” were nearly gifts from the celestial realm and to be used to teach the real world the acceptance of others. However, the most scary of the mix was the lost souled people, known as “the gray” and who have no spirit and have just given up at life. The father described this as a curse from the Nether!
The ways of humans:
The children were taught that humans have a simple order in life. They grow, learn, mature, gain work, and reproduce, then repeat. Those who strayed from this path were either gifted or cursed, from the Celestials or Infernals.
Education:
They would be taught everything standard, through home schooling from the “father”. Everything except history and geography.
Rules~
1.) ask before joining so I can keep track and people don’t just show up! >.<
2.) no OP powers! Let’s give them something simple or quirky, but if it must be something out of the ordinary, give it a minor set back!
3.) the character ages should be around 5-17
4.) I am okay with people having up to 3 characters each, but keep track of them!
5.) you can create a human who works for the doctor, but your main role would be the children.
6.) swearing is cool but keep under control! I had an rp once where every thing one person would say, was some new swear word. It was like a child figuring out that they could cuss and no one could stop them! It was a bit uncomfortable. Sorry! Don’t judge! >~<

Other: She gets dehydrated easily on land. This sometimes leads to bleeding easily and dry skin. -

Other: She tried to dress up as a pirate once for Halloween...

Aberration(s): Extreme luck and Paralysis shock. Alec has a funny way of accessing his second aberration, paralysis shock (The abilitiy to immobilize a person’s motor functions temporarily) due to a sad result when he first received his aberration. He had revived a split personality alongside the second ability. He doesn’t like talking about the other personality. Alec’s other half has hurt people emotionally but never physically, he’s just mean. Most nicknamed the second personality, blank... in order to show he is not wanted or... nothing. However, Alec only uses his luck aberration due to not wanting to hurt others with his second personality.
Appearance: about 5’6” in height, tan skin, chestnut brown, wavy, short hair, little bit of freckles, and hazel eyes.
Personality: very loyal and optimistic, sometimes too carefree, laid back.
Other: has a “small” addiction to bagels, he doesn’t know why it’s just a huge craving. He also has a small cat companion, with grey fur who shares a similar interest in bagels. Alec names her Captain bagels when he was younger. -
Name: Cathleen
Age: 8
Gender: female
Aberration(s): phasing. Has the ability to pass through solid objects, but not liquids.
Appearance: really tiny girl with blonde hair and green eyes. She normally keeps her hair in a braid.
Personality: very curious, a lot like Alice(in wonderland), very sympathetic for an 8 year old, and mature.
Other: tends to accidentally seek up on others while looking around. Her phasing doesn’t help, and she naturally quiet. -
This guy is more of a side character for the story to be a bit more interesting)

Personality: hyper, very excited, focused on mostly work but gets annoyed when distracted. Very childish. He does have a more serious side that he isn’t too fond of.
Other: works for the doctor monitoring the video feed at the apartment complex the group will be staying at. He also has control of the security system. -

Sexuality: Mark and Lark are straight, Clark is bi
Aberration(s): His real name is Clinton Lamarck, but since his peculiarity is to make up to three versions of himself, he mixed up his name into Lark, Clark, and Mark. Clark has the power to read minds, Lark has the power of super speed, and Mark can identify weak parts. If they are separated for too long they get very weak. They also get the same injuries the other’s get, with the exception of death. If one of them dies, the other two lose their powers besides joining and splitting and will have scarred skin when joined. If two die the third will have scarred and burned skin that hurts when touched permanently.

Lark is witty, clever, foolish, kind, cheerful, goofy, silly, patient, and extremely unpredictable. He’s adventurous and curious, rarely serious. However you don’t want to see his bad side. He’ll sick Mark on ya. What? Can’t a coward make threats and still avoid his own battles?
Clarke is pure fluff boy. No other way to describe him but innocent, pure, fluffiness.
