C1’s partner of two years was recently murdered, and their funeral is today. While at the funeral C1 meets someone, a mysterious person they’ve never encountered before, the person claims to have known c1’s partner very well. C1 finds themselves smitten, and giving their number to C2.
All they know is they have a nagging feeling of guilt and a slight suspicion something isn’t right

C2 is the grim reapers child, and a member of the mafia. The supernatural mafia that is, and in fact was the one who killed C1’s partner, who had been a spy from a rival gang. C2 decides to go to the funeral to kill c1’s partners ‘ pet human’. Instead they full in love with the awkward human.

Jaden sat down in the front of the few rows of chairs that had been set up for his husband's funeral. While most of them were family he recognized there were a few he didnt. He had done his best to hide his emotions, with minimal success. Despite his usual behavior, it was so difficult for him to keep his emotions in check. He wiped a tear from his cheek and listened to the words spoken about his former husband.

A young blonde man sat beside the widower, dressed in a black suit, with an odd rose. It was half white, and half black, but it looked to have been done by splitting the stem , rather than painting onto the rose petals, if it was even man made in the first place. The young man was handsome and didn’t look older than 18, which was a major flaw in design the young man considered personally, considering how short he was.
The funeral was nice, and it made sense to kill the other male so soon after he’d taken out his husband, he could see the ghost trying to warn his former husband to flee, but he’d blocked the man from communicating for now.
