Amelia walked into the school, flipping through her files one last time. She was 17. She liked reading. She was the new kid moving away in a few weeks, because her father travels for work.
Sure that she could do this without a slip up, she walked into the class and pushed up the brown rimmed glasses she didn’t need. Entering her first class, she introduced herself and sat down in a back seat. It was near kids she wouldn’t want to associate herself with, but it would allow her to observe the class well. She had told the chief that she didn’t want to start in the middle of the school year, but here she was anyway. What a pain. -
Ashley walked to the back of the class where a new kid seemed to be sitting.
"Obviously you don't know how things work around here."she said"That's my seat but your butt's in it."she said.She stared at the girl."Scram"she said and nudged her head away "and I won't give you any trouble." -
“Funny. I don’t seem to see your name on it.” Amelia said, not looking up from her book. She could play the part with all her might, but not even notorious gang lords could take away her sass. Besides, getting into some trouble might help her reputation a bit.

Everyone made a sound that seemed like 'Ooo'and Ashley rolled her eyes.

Ashley walked over to another kid,smaller and much weaker.She laughed when the kid got nervous and yelped.She sat down behind Amelia. -
“Well aren’t you just a joy to be around.” She mumbled about the girl who was clearly the ‘big bad gangster’ of the school.

"Is am,am I not,love?"she said leaning back on her seat."Kid deserved it,he tried defending a his little friend last week.That was just his lesson" -
“I’m sorry are you saying he deserved to be harassed because he refused to let you harass his friend?” Amelia said, finally looking up from her book at the girl.

Ashley nudged."Maybe I am,maybe I'm not"she said."Or maybe he really did deserve it.You dont il know why he was defending his friend.His friend could have graffitied a wall and his friend was defending him.You don't know so don't step into things that you don't know"She explained and stared her dead in the eyes.

“You don’t seem like the kind of person to get mad at someone for graffiti get property. Unless, of course, they might have been covering a tag of some sort.” She had muttered that last part pretty much to herself, thinking aloud.
