Rex sniffed as he walked in, smelling the food before he headed over to his brother

The young rookie tried both and her eyes more or less turned into anime stars.
“ wow! It’s really good!” -
Cooper nodded proudly. “That’s right! Best bar food in town.”

Rex snickered "best food in General" he said before he nudged his brother

And then Minako started crying,

Cooper let out a little noise of alarm. “Minako, are you okay? Is something wrong?” They ask, concern showing on their face.

Rex blinked at the rookie in concern

“ I-I, fine, I It’s just been a while since I’ve ate something home made.” She said wiping her tears away

Cooper ruffled Minako’s hair a bit. “Well how about this, love. I’ll join your party, but only if you let me serve homemade meals every day. Deal?” They said, outstretching their hand for Minako to shake.

Rex smoled and then he shook his brother to wake him up

Minako shook their hand happily.

“Awesome! Now, let’s get to bed. I’m beat.” They said, heading upstairs and leading Minako up there with them.

Rex sighed and then he picked his brother up

Minako followed them with a tired smile.
