1x1 plot:
C1 is a witch, overconfident with their magic they try a dangerous summoning ritual on Halloween, and inadvertently bind themselves to the ruler of the dark dimension. The ritual unleashed several creatures on the world, and they must help to get rid of them, but if they do not find a way to repay C2, the ruler, they will belong to them. forever.
Group:
A group of friends are messing around one Halloween night when C1, an overconfident ‘witch’ decides they want to show their friends something cool!
They accidentally cause a real summoning ritual, summoning and binding themselves to C2, the ruler of the dark dimension. This causes many dangerous monsters to be released.
C2 saves everyone’s lives by giving them powers, linked to their costumes.
The group of friends have an entire year to resolve this problem, while also figuring out a way to break the contract between c1 and C2
C1 and C2 have romantic undertones but don’t need to end up together in the group soap.

The powers take form as magical girl transformations.
Eg a werewolf would get wolf ears and a tail and a wolf themed costume, but isn’t an actual werewolf.
They would have no actual magic as such, but would have for example a technique where they use an inhuman burst of speed in tandem with their claws to cut up enemy.
Since the monsters aren’t real it’s not gory it’s a spiritual attack.
Don’t repeat costumes please!
No character costumes, those don’t work.
God and demons can work, but I’d be telling you what powers you’d have,
And witch is taken by C1 :)
I’d prefer to sue this as a group but 1x1 works. -

I’m afraid that falls into character costumes, though I’d allow something like a ghost or a nightmare based spirit

Powers; Alison has witch themed magic, channeled throw her magical girl staff, Alison’s magic colour is pastel pink.
Attacks;Grimore Ghost; seven ghostly books open to a different page each, and shoot out magical energy beams.
Simple staff; Alison casts a spell from her staff which transforms an object
Elemental wheel; alison spins a ghostly wheel and her staff channels whatever element it lands on
Special attack: Burst of light/darkness, depending on the state of Alison’s Wishing shard, she can harness either the energy for a cleansing blast, or a destruction blast, channeled through her crystals.
Last resort move: Alison transforms into the high priestess, her magic changes her outfit, and causes her to gain a powerup.
