Andersen breathed heavily as he ran. He couldn't stay in this facility any longer. It was his reason for becoming the 'insane.'
He kept running, as fast he could from the nurses and security chasing after him. Until, he reached a path of darkness. Andersen deathly feared the dark.
He was trapped now.. No, he couldn't do this anymore. Practically leaping, he closed his eyes, and guided his way through the hall.
"CATCH THAT b------," someone yelled. which brought tears to the boy's eyes. Panting, he had lost track of them, and hid between two hallways. -
Auggie rolled over onto her back, looking up at the cracks in the ceiling that she could not get fixed. She wanted some company. Someone to be friends with. She hadn't had a real friend in a long time; Dad used to get mad when she talked about her friends and he made her get rid of them sometimes, and then when Dad left she stopped going to school. any job she managed to hold for more than a few days was just that; a job. People thought she was weird when she was 'clingy' so she tried not to talk to people.

Everyone had lost track of Andersen, so he caught his breath. Silently, he slipped out the exit of the facility, which was unguarded at the time. Not knowing where to go, Andersen ran towards the nearest path, leading him into a forest.

Augustine sat up suddenly, tired of thinking sad thoughts about Dad and Mom. The hunger pangs in her stomach sent her out the front door with what little money she had at the moment; she hated begging but it was what she had been reduced to. The young dark haired, freckled girl breathed in the foresty air.
