James nodded "I'm fine. Just got PUSHED OFF of my own bed"

"Honey... Who are you shaming?" She said, kneeling down to check him for bruises

Raven sighed "now or never" he thought

His mom froze, then slowly moved James away from the bed. He got up, then sat back down where he was

Raven stood up "um hello maam im sorry i fell off the bed from fright...im from James school..."

His mom was visibly confused, so James said "This is my boyfriend"

Ravens cheeks turned scarlet and he just looked down

"Oooohhh. I see what's going on here" She said with a smile. She grabbed Raven by the wrist, and softly pulled him out

Raven looked at James with a terrified expression

She let go of his wrist "Hello! I'm James's mom, Barbara! Nice to meet you"

"N.nice to meet you too maam im R.Raven"

"Oh, no need to be shy, dear." She said with a warm smile, extending a hand

Raven nodded and took her hand and kisses the top "yes maam"
